Meadowlark Dairy Hosting 'Cone With A Cop'
Guests will receive one free ice cream cone and get to speak to Pleasanton police officers about issues affecting the community.

PLEASANTON, CA — Beat the heat and meet your local police officers at Pleasanton Police Department’s annual Cone with a Cop, scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 from 2-4 p.m. at Meadowlark Dairy, the Pleasanton landmark that Yelp users named the 8th best ice cream in the country in 2023.
Guests will receive one free ice cream cone, and be able to talk to Pleasanton officers about issues on their mind. Attendees are encouraged to walk or ride their bike to avoid traffic slowdowns. Last year, police officers served over 2,000 cones, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
Tickets are not required. To reduce traffic congestion, guests are encouraged to walk or bike.
