Wine, Prizes, Giveaways — Grand Re-opening Of Pairings In Pleasanton, Pair Of New Owners
Pairings Wine Bar Restaurant has festivities planned for Friday-Sunday to introduce a new menu and new ownership to the community.
PLEASANTON, CA — Is there any way that drinking wine can get any better? Yes, the correct answer is definitely prizes. Well, prizes and giveaways are just what is in store (pun, intended) at the grand re-opening of Pairings Wine Bar Restaurant in Pleasanton this weekend along with live music Friday and Saturday nights. A sip-and-paint is also planned for Sunday.
Beyond just throwing a party for the community, the re-opening is to celebrate another new pairing at the restaurant: the new owners (pun intended, again). According to a video on the Instagram of the wine bar, the duo bought Pairings in June 2021 after missing small businesses and the connections of the community. Noted improvements they have set out to make include a new menu, which is reportedly inspired by their travels.
The menu consists of robust list of offerings spanning from the expected small bites, cheese and charcuterie to the more filling entrees, burgers and dessert. Certainly not to be outdone, the drink menu also features plenty to choose. The wine bar has selected a variety of wine flights that include three pours, nine ounces total, based on the type of wine or a feature they are highlighting in the wine. For example, Old World Whites is a flight. Guests can also choose whites, roses, reds, sparkling sangria and port wines by the glass or bottle, with some options reserved for bottle-only.
