Pleasanton Christmas Tree Recycling Gets Underway Soon
Early January will bring Pleasanton residents several convenient ways to offload their Christmas trees responsibly. Here are some options.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton neighbors will have several options over the coming days and weeks to responsibly dispose of their Christmas trees.
Boy Scouts of America Troop #941 will pick up trees for the annual tree recycling fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, starting at 8 a.m. Residents must reserve a timeslot and should remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, nails and stands before the pickup.
Between Jan. 6 and Jan. 17, neighbors can also put their trees curbside on their regular trash collection day as part of Pleasanton Garbage Service's special holiday tree pickup program. Trees must be clean and down to 4 feet or less.
