Pleasanton Kohl's Closing
The Metro 580 location was one of 27 around the country slated to close due to "underperformance."

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Kohl’s at the Metro 580 shopping center is one of 27 underperforming stores around the country slated to close in April, the retail chain announced Jan. 9.
“While Kohl's continues to believe in the health and strength of its profitable store base, these specific locations were underperforming stores,” Kohl’s said in a statement. “All associates have been informed, and offered a competitive severance package or the ability to apply to other open roles at Kohl's. Kohl's thanks our associates for their work and is working to support our associates during this transition.”
10 stores in California are also slated to close, including locations in Fremont, Napa, Mountain View, and San Rafael. The chain also said it plans to close its E-commerce Fulfillment Center in San Bernardino.
