PLEASANTON, CA — Applications for a number of Pleasanton commissions and committees open Friday, and are available until March 10. The following are looking for new members:
- Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Committee: 1 vacancy, regular member
- Civic Arts Commission: 3 vacancies, regular member
- Economic Vitality Committee: 1 vacancy for At-Large Representative, 1 vacancy for Life Sciences
- Human Services Commission: 2 vacancies, regular members
- Library Commission: 1 vacancy for regular member, 1 vacancy for youth member
- Parks and Recreation Commission: 3 vacancies, regular member
- Planning Commission: 2 vacancies, regular member
- Altamont Education Advisory Board: 1 vacancy for a science, environmental education, or vocational education teacher for Pleasanton public schools.
