Stabbing Suspect Arrested In Pleasanton: Police
A woman was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her husband in their Owens Drive apartment. The victim is in critical condition, police said.
PLEASANTON, CA — A woman was arrested in Pleasanton on suspicion of stabbing her husband, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
At around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Pleasanton police received a call from a woman reporting that she had stabbed her husband during a fight, the department said in a Tuesday news release.
Officers arrived at the apartment complex on the 4900 block of Owens Drive, where they administered aid to the male victim. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition as of Tuesday, police said.

The woman suspect was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and felony domestic violence, police said.
The Pleasanton Police Department said that it will not release either name due to confidentiality laws surrounding domestic violence cases. The case remains under active investigation.

Witnesses on Nextdoor reported a heavy police presence around the apartment complex located near Walmart. Witnesses reported that it was cordoned off for hours, and a white tent appeared on the site.
