See Where Pleasanton Ranks On ‘Safest Cities To Raise A Family’ List

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton made the Safewise list “Top 50 Safest Cities to Raise a Family in 2022."

The city came in at #50, according to the report. California took 11 spots on the list, including Mission Viejo and San Ramon in top ranks.

Safewise, a security research group focused on crime and safety trends, studied violent crime, property crime and sex offender lists among other factors when determining its rankings.

Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Lake Forest, Murrieta, Chino Hills, Irvine, San Marcos, Simi Valley all made the list.

California also had a number of dangerous cities listed.

Johns Creek, Georgia was ranked as the safest city in America to raise a family.

Indiana, Texas and California each had two cities in the top 10, the report said.

Other western states like Washington, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, and New Mexico had no cities that broke into the top 50 safest cities, according to the report.
