'Spread Cheer With Beer' Initiative Donates To Nonprofit

Residents can donate support the Livermore Craft Valley Beer Foundation and win a 64-ounce growler by visiting five participating breweries.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Tri-Valley is widely known for wine, but it is also a center of craft beer brewing. To highlight the region’s independent breweries and give back to worthy nonprofits, Visit Tri-Valley is launching the “Spread Cheer with Beer” campaign.

Until Jan. 1, Visit Tri-Valley will donate $20 to the Livermore Valley Craft Beer Foundation for anyone who completes the challenge. For many years, the nonprofit foundation has donated $165,000 to the local Shriners hospital, provided over 41,500 meals through food drives, and raised money for 193 bikes for kids in need.

To participate, sign up here for the free Tri-Valley Beer Trail mobile pass and check into five participating locations along the trail by Jan. 1. After five stops, participants can take home a 64-ounce growler, and Visit Tri-Valley will donate to the foundation.
