The new award is open to local youth who have made meaningful change in the Tri-Valley community.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Three Valleys Community Foundation is seeking nominations for its new Young Philanthropist Award, which celebrates “emerging leaders who are stepping up today to shape a better tomorrow.”

“At 3VCF, we believe the next generation holds extraordinary power and potential to shape a connected, compassionate, and resilient Tri-Valley,” said Dr. Kelly Bowers, President / CEO of Three Valleys Community Foundation. “Through this award, we’re not only celebrating young change makers, we’re helping them build a foundation for lifelong civic leadership and philanthropic engagement. We aim to help them pay it forward: together, across generations, in service of community.”

Nominations are open for Tri-Valley individuals and teams ages 15-21 who has a vision to help make the community a better place, and has worked hard to make it happen. The deadline to submit here is before midnight on Friday, Nov. 14.
