West Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station Closed Due To Slashing: Reports
The station closed Tuesday morning after a man "slashed at two to three people with a shiny metal object," according to a BART spokesman.

PLEASANTON, CA — The West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station was briefly closed Tuesday morning due to a report of a man slashing at people with a shiny metal object, according to reports. No injuries were reported.
The station closed at around 7:50 a.m. after an individual "slashed at two to three people with a shiny metal object," BART spokesperson Jim Allison told SFGate.
Police took the suspect into custody and collected evidence, Allison said. The station reopened at around 8:55 a.m.

Wheels provided shuttles to the Dublin/Pleasanton station during the closure, according to CBS and Bay City News.
In July, a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after she was stabbed with a sharpened object aboard a BART train at the Dublin/Pleasanton station. Suspect Diego Lightfoot was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
