Woman Dead In Solo Vehicle Crash In Pleasanton
The passenger of a vehicle was ejected from a vehicle on I-680 early Saturday morning in Pleasanton.
PLEASANTON, CA — California Highway Patrol officers were still investigating a solo-vehicle collision that left one woman dead on a Pleasanton highway on Saturday morning.
At 5:46 a.m., CHP officers received a call about a crash in which the passenger of a vehicle had been ejected on I-680 just south of Bernal Avenue.
She was pronounced dead on scene by first responders, CHP Officer Tyler Hahn told Patch.

A female driver was evaluated for driving under the influence and placed under arrest, he said.
The crash stalled traffic for hours as the right lanes of the highway were shut down during the investigation, Hahn said.

The ages and make of the vehicle was not immediately available and the crash was still under investigation Saturday evening.
