Poway Street Maintenance Begins In June

Various roads will be closed starting in June as the city makes deep asphalt repairs.

POWAY, CA β€” Crews will conduct nighttime construction work throughout the month of June in Poway, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

The Poway Road Grade, between Espola Road and SR-67, will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday throughout the month of June to conduct deep patch asphalt repairs. Drivers will be able to take Scripps Poway Parkway instead.

The project is part of Poway’s annual street maintenance. Crews will work on Poway Road from Community Road to SR-67, Community Road from Stowe Drive to Poway Road and Espola Road from Twin Peaks Road to Titan Way, according to the Union-Tribune.

Some lanes will be closed, and signs will keep drivers posted. Drivers can also follow the latest developments at poway.org/roads. Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through at all times.
