78-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash In Ramona
Neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to be a factor in the collision, the CHP said.

RAMONA, CA — An elderly man was killed over the weekend in a single-vehicle collision in Ramona, authorities said.
The collision happened at 1:37 p.m. Saturday when the driver of a northbound 2018 Toyota Camry tried to turn right, veered off the roadway on state Route 67, north of Shady Bend, and crashed into a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver, a 78-year-old Santa Ysabel resident, was taken to Palomar Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to be a factor in the collision, the CHP said. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
