1. Are people crazier on the road or what? For some reason, recklessness seems to be taking its toll on the inland pocket of South Orange County. Martin Henderson takes a drive to Cook's Corner and talks about it. You may be surprised to find out .
2. Tesoro High has its Winter Formal tonight at the Nixon Library. Be safe, kids. We don't need a tragedy to spoil the party.
3. This weekend is a big one for PetSmart and those who want to adopt pets. It's also an opportunity to showcase Modjeska Ranch Rescue, which not only has typical pets like dogs and cats, but larger animals such as horses and donkeys. 4. On this day in history, Feb. 12, 2002, the "Butcher of the Balkans" Slobodan Milosevich, began his trial for genocide and war crimes perpetrated against Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo. In 1912, the last emporor of China was forced to abdicate his throne; he was 6 years old. In 1976, actor Sal Mineo was fatally stabbed in the parking lot of his Hollywood apartment. In 1999, President Clinton was acquitted of perjury and obstruction of justice. In 2008, Hollywood's longest work stoppage in 20 years finally ended after 100 days when writers agreed to return to work.
5.
