1 Hurt in South Bay Mobile Home Fire

The fire was out in 11 minutes. The cause is still under investigation.

GARDENA, CA - One person was injured in a mobile home fire Thursday morning in an unincorporated area bordering Gardena, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.

The blaze at a mobile park in the 15000 block of Lemoli Avenue was reported at 4:37 a.m., county fire Dispatch Supervisor Kyle Sanford said.

The department dispatched about 25 firefighters to the scene, and they extinguished the flames in 11 minutes, Sanford said.

One person was injured and transported to a hospital. The victim's condition was unknown as of early this morning.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
