Students at are encouraged to read at least two books from their respective grade-level lists over the summer, according to a notice posted on the Adams website. In addition to reading, students should complete a project on one of the books they read. Students who complete the assignment will receive extra credit in their language arts class, an invitation to a summer reading celebration and a certificate of completion.
