Authorities ID Two Men Found Dead On Torrance Beach
A woman told reporters she and a friend discovered the bodies while jogging on the beach.
REDONDO BEACH, CA —Authorities Tuesday identified one of two men found dead on a beach in Torrance last week; autopsies were pending to determine their cause of deaths.
He was 22-year-old Daniel Alarid, who was homeless, the coroner's office reported Tuesday. Authorities also identified the other man over the weekend. He was Brian Rodriguez, 34, of Redondo Beach.
The bodies were discovered about 7 a.m. Friday near the 300 block of Paseo De La Playa, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
