Hennessey’s Taverns of California is proud to host the Hennessey’s United States SUP and Paddleboard Championships. We have an exciting 8.5 mile race course that begins and ends at Avenue I in Redondo Beach, with the Body Glove yacht leading the way! This promises to be a fun-filled event with top competitors hailing from across the United States. This is an open-ocean, near-shore race and they are going back to the old R-10 buoy-run course for the main event.
In the race tradition of Hennessey’s Taverns and the Southern California Paddleboard Club, a full-blown luau will follow the race behind on Catalina and Avenue I in Redondo Beach. Come listen to great music and enjoy the award ceremony, plate lunch, and massive raffle immediately following the race.
