Seven-year-old Jeremy Perez was killed Aug. 5 after a delivery truck backed over him in the parking lot of the grocery store on Artesia Boulevard in Redondo Beach.
In lieu of a private service, his family is holding a public memorial on the beach at 28th Street and The Strand in Manhattan Beach at 3 p.m. Saturday.
