Twidwell told Patch that the neighborhood children were often at Goldberg's house, even when her own children weren't home.
Another neighbor, who declined to be identified, told the Daily Breeze that Goldberg "was an amazing woman" who "sparkled."
"She was caring, loving and always optimistic," he said.
According to Goldberg's Facebook page, she is originally from New York and graduated from the New York Institute of Technology.
The rest of her family currently lives in New York.
She worked at Esquire Executive Suites in El Segundo.
