Gas Prices Fall for 2nd Straight Week

Just in time for Thankgiving weekend travel, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today for the 15th consecutive day, dropping six-tenths of a cent to $3.738, the lowest amount since Aug. 25.

The average price is 6.7 cents less than one week ago and 13.6 cents lower than a month ago but 59.5 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 12.8 cents over the past 15 days,
including 1.3 cents on Thursday.
