Girls Basketball Ranked No. 9 in SoCal
The Redondo Union High School Lady Sea Hawks are ranked in the Top 10 of Division 2AA girls basketball teams in the CIF Southern Section.
The girls basketball team is ranked No. 9 in the CIF Southern Section, according to a coaches' poll released Monday.
The team, which is 11-12 overall and 3-3 in Bay League play, ranks behind Mark Keppel, JW North, Ventura, Lynwood, Canyon/Anaheim, Canyon/Canyon Country, Thousand Oaks and Whittier in Division 2AA. (See below for the complete Division 2AA rankings.)
The boys basketball team, which was tied for 15th place in Division 2AA in the Jan. 17 coaches' poll, is no longer ranked. The team is currently 9-12 overall and 1-5 in Bay League play, according to game results reported to MaxPreps.
