How to Get to the Dodgers Post-Season Games from the South Bay

An express shuttle will start two hours before the game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will provide Dodger Express shuttle bus service from the South Bay for postseason play, which begins today with Game 1 of a National League Division Series.

Service from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center will start two hours before game time and continue every 15 minutes thereafter. Riders will board at Bay 9 and their Dodger ticket covers the payment for travel.

Buses will drop fans off in Dodger Stadium’s Lot G, just by the right field pavilion.

Return service begins with buses leaving five minutes after the last out and continuing for 45 minutes in five-minute intervals.

The team is encouraging fans to arrive early to avoid rush hour traffic and purchase parking passes in advance online to assist in traffic flow and expedite movement through the auto gates. Purchasing parking in advance also guarantees parking on site.

The parking price for advance purchase is $10. The price at the gate is $20. Premium parking is available in advance at $35 and $50 at the gate.

The team is also urging fans to carpool to Dodger Stadium or use an alternative transportation service.

The Dodger Stadium Express shuttle bus service from Union Station will operate 90 minutes before the game, with buses leaving every 10 minutes, and 45 minutes after the end of the game. It stops behind the pavilions and at Lot P behind the top deck.

Dodger tickets will be honored as fare payment.

The Dodgers are also encouraging fans to use the Metro Gold Line, leaving the trains at the Chinatown Station, and Metro’s Line 2 and 4 buses, which stop at Sunset Boulevard and Elysian Park Avenue, outside the entrance to Dodger Stadium.

The team is also encouraging use of car services, whose vehicles will be allowed to enter Dodger Stadium through the Gate A entrance at Sunset Boulevard and Elysian Park Avenue.

Vehicles will be issued a special colored dash placard and be able to drop off passengers inside Lot 12. Once passengers are dropped off, car service vehicles will be required to exit through Gate A.

Following the game, car service vehicles will be permitted to enter through Gate A to pick up passengers in Lot 12.

Tickets for both today’s game and Saturday’s Game 2 against the St. Louis Cardinals are sold out. Tickets for a possible Game 5, which would be played Thursday, and all League Championship Series games, remain on sale at dodgers.com/postseason.

All auto gates will open at 12:37 p.m. and all stadium gates at 1 p.m. for the 3:37 p.m. game.
