A huge blaze Monday night appeared to destroy a warehouse on the border of Carson and the unincorporated Rancho Dominguez area.
The second alarm fire inside the warehouse at 2082 E. Gladwick St., near Wilmington Avenue, was reported at 9:08 p.m. with a knockdown declared at 10:32 p.m, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Kyle Sanford. No injuries were reported.
The department sent 75 to 100 firefighters to battle the fire, with some remaining at the scene until an unspecified time Tuesday morning “to do mop- up and stay on fire watch,” Sanford said.
