Happy Tuesday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today: 

1. It's L.A. Beer Week, and local craft breweries and beer bars are getting in on the action. John Schreiber has the scoop in his latest South Bay Brews News column.
2. The Redondo Beach Unified School District Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at the district's administrative offices, located at 1401 Inglewood Ave. in North Redondo Beach. The agenda is available online.
3. Redondo Union High School football coach Matt Ballard is now blogging about the Sea Hawks! Learn all about last week's stars, as well as the Super Sea Hawk for Game No. 5!
