Lady Sea Hawks No. 6 in Basketball Poll

The season hasn't even officially started, but the CIF Southern Section released its pre-season coaches' polls for boys and girls basketball Monday, and both teams of Redondo Union High School Sea Hawks are ranked.

The coaches poll put the Redondo boys at No. 13 in Division 2AA.

The girls basketball team, which comes into the season with all-new starters, is ranked No. 6 in the Division 2AA poll. Last season, the Lady Sea Hawks won their first playoff game in four years and produced a 12-game winning streak.

The boys and girls soccer teams and the girls water polo team were not ranked in this week's coaches' polls.
