Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know this week:
- The Redondo Beach City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. to hear CenterCal Properties' vision for the Redondo Beach waterfront and administer the oath of office to newly-elected Treasurer Steve Diels. The meeting is the culmination of many months' worth of public meetings on the future of the waterfront.
- The city of Redondo Beach will finish counting all remaining ballots cast in the special runoff election for city treasurer on Monday; the election results will be officially certified Tuesday.
- In honor of the restaurant's 31st anniversary, Ruby's Diner will be selling its new "NEXT GEN" burger for only $3.10 on Monday. There is a Ruby's Diner in the Redondo Beach Marina.
