Monday Essentials: Final Election Results, Waterfront Meeting

Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know this week:

1. The Redondo Beach City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. to hear CenterCal Properties' vision for the Redondo Beach waterfront and administer the oath of office to newly-elected Treasurer Steve Diels. The meeting is the culmination of many months' worth of public meetings on the future of the waterfront.
2. The city of Redondo Beach will finish counting all remaining ballots cast in the special runoff election for city treasurer on Monday; the election results will be officially certified Tuesday.
3. In honor of the restaurant's 31st anniversary, Ruby's Diner will be selling its new "NEXT GEN" burger for only $3.10 on Monday. There is a Ruby's Diner in the Redondo Beach Marina.
