New Wellness Boutique Herb + Dew Opens In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A new wellness boutique is hosting a grand opening celebration in Redondo Beach this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Herb + Dew Apothecary, which opened earlier this month, carries herbs and flower medicine, "treasures for you and your space," as well as holistic health workshops and services, according to their grand opening announcement. Finding the space to open the apothecary in Redondo Beach was completely serendipitous, founder Nicholle Sanchez said.

It was a dream of hers for four years — she looked at retail locations for rent in Temecula, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, but one morning, she gave up. She thought, "maybe I was meant to work on a horse farm," she told Patch.

"A few hours later, I went on a walk and ran into a neighbor. She asked me about the store I was going to open, and when I told her I decided against it just that morning, she said 'No you didn't.' She convinced me to rent this space," Sanchez said. "It just came to me. When things are meant to be, it will populate."

The boutique will be offering a 20 percent discount at the boutique along with free vegan snacks, mocktails, herbal tonics and good-for-you sodas.

There will also be a raffle to win wellness goodies and gift certificates. Sponsors include: Turning It Green, Olipop, Sunwink, Seedlip, Ingrid V, Allomi, Punchbowl Redondo Beach and Mystic Wellness.

"We are new to the community and would love to meet you!" the grand opening event page said. "We are happy to bring our gifts to the Redondo Beach community for collective health and well-being."

The grand opening celebration is this Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1617 S. PCH Suite I, Redondo Beach, California 90277. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and weekdays by appointment.
