Police: Woman Brandished Screwdriver, Bit Victim
A woman is arrested in North Redondo Beach after she tried to stab a witnesses with a screwdriver, police say.

A woman was arrested last Thursday after witnesses said she brandished a screwdriver and bit someone, according to an item in the 's Recent Law Enforcement Events release.
The suspect, who was not named in the release, was caught vandalizing a vehicle in the 2400 block of Marine Avenue early Thursday morning, witnesses told police. When they confronted her, she lunged at the victim and unsuccessfully tried to stab him or her with the screwdriver.
When the victim tried to disarm her, the woman bit the victim's left hand, injuring it, police said.
