REDONDO BEACH, CA — A suspected burglar was arrested after being shot with a non-lethal round by Redondo Beach police Wednesday.
Travis Weathers, 27, of Redondo Beach allegedly broke into a home in the 2200 block of Aviation Boulevard around 1 p.m., Redondo Beach police Lt. Shawn Freeman said. A woman was home when Weathers allegedly broke in and yelled at him to leave, he said.
When police arrived, Weathers was still inside the home but ran to a shared driveway of the townhomes in the 2400 block of Aviation Boulevard, Freeman said.

Weathers began to exit the garage of one of the townhomes but ran back inside the townhome, that was when police shot him with a non-lethal round, Freeman said. Weathers was taken into custody around 2:55 p.m., he said.
