Redondo Resident Appointed to State Board

Redondo Beach resident Lisa Davidson, 47, will be representing Los Angeles County on the State Council on Development Disabilities (SCDD), Gov. Jerry Brown announced Thursday in a news release.

Davidson, a Republican, is currently a team manager at State Farm Insurance. She has worked for State Farm since 1987, according to the news release.

The SCDD is an independent state agency that aims "to ensure that people with developmental disabilities and their families receive the services and supports they need," the agency states on its website.
