Report of Theft Suspect With Gun Closes Macy's in Redondo Beach
The store has been evacuated as police search for the man who might be armed. The rest of the mall is open.
The Macy’s store at the South Bay Galleria has been closed while Redondo Beach police search for a theft suspect who possibly has a firearm, according to a report on Nixle. Customers were evacuated from Macy’s. The rest of the mall remains open.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in blue jeans with a shaved head.
If anyone sees the suspect, they should call 911 immediately and not approach the suspect, police say.
