Share Photos; Get Traffic Conditions

Redondo Beach Patch is constantly improving, and we're excited to announce the launch of a couple of new features.

If you're looking for the Marketplace or Volunteer pages, you can find them by hovering your mouse over the "»" tab in the navigation bar above.

Share photos, videos with neighbors

Ever snap a photo that you wanted to share with the community? Well, now you can! Our new community gallery is a place where you can upload and share your photos and videos, whether they're newsworthy, interesting or just plain fun.

On the back end, we've also made it easier to upload your photos.

You can find the gallery by clicking on the "Gallery" tab in the navigation bar above or by hitting the "Add to Neighborhood Gallery" button on the front page.

Get real-time traffic updates and the latest gas prices

Thanks to MapQuest, we've now got live traffic updates for North and South Redondo Beach. Though the map doesn't cover every street, you can check the speed of traffic on Pacific Coast Highway, 190th Street, Hawthorne Boulevard, portions of Prospect Avenue, Artesia Boulevard, Aviation Boulevard and parts of Inglewood Avenue. Depending on the speed of traffic, streets will be highlighted in green, yellow or red. If there's an incident, the map will show a hazard icon—click on it for more details.

You can also find gas prices on the same page. See three of the cheapest prices in the area for regular, or use the drop-down menu to check out midgrade, premium and diesel prices.
