South Bay Man Found Fatally Shot In Car In Long Beach
Police are investigating the death of a South Bay man who was found shot inside a parked car in Long Beach on Wednesday.
TORRANCE, CA — A South Bay man was found fatally shot inside a parked car in Long Beach, authorities announced Thursday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner/Coroner identified 32-year-old Torrance resident Shane Camu as the victim on Thursday. Long Beach police discovered Camu Wednesday morning in Long Beach's MacArthur Park neighborhood.
Police responded to a call for aid in the 2200 block of Spaulding Street from the Long Beach Fire Department at about 7:30 a.m. Fire personnel informed police that Camu was inside a parked car at the scene and had been declared dead.

According to homicide detectives, Camu had a gunshot wound in his upper body.
The motive for the shooting and circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, police said.
