Suspicious Redondo Beach Death Under Investigation

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a person found inside a Redondo Beach home Friday.

Officers dispatched at 1:57 a.m. regarding an "unknown trouble" call in the 1700 block of Green Lane came upon the person's body inside the residence, Redondo Beach Police Lt. Michael Martinez said.

"Investigators from the Redondo Beach Police Department and the Los Angeles County Crime Lab are currently at the scene," Martinez said Friday. "There is no threat to the community stemming from this incident and investigators believe all involved parties are accounted for. No suspects are outstanding."
