Happy Thursday, Redondo Beach! Here are five things residents should know today: 

  1. Looking for fresh produce and other tasty treats? Check out the Redondo Beach Farmers Market at Veterans Park from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. today.
  2. Kitchen Nightmares will be filming at Zayna's Flaming Grill in South Redondo Beach. Look for a story later today about how to get a reservation.
  3. Gail Yen (Redondo Union High School Class of 2009) made the Dean's list at Union College for the 2012-2013 school year. Recipients of the honor must maintain a 3.75 GPA for the whole year, in addition to other achievements.
  4. In case you missed it, Wednesday's top story was Redondo Elects New Treasurer.
