VPI Lists Popular, Wacky Dog Names

Is your dog named Bella, Bailey or Max? What about Stinkie Mcstinkerson or Dewey Decimell? Veterinary Pet Insurance Co. lists the most popular and wacky pet names of 2011.

According to Veterinary Pet Insurance Co. (VPI), a roundup of the most popular dog names in 2011 showed no change over the previous year.

Bella, Bailey, Max, Lucy and Molly were the top 5 most popular dog names. Rounding out the top 10 were Buddy, Daisy, Maggie, Charlie and Sophie.

VPI also publishes an annual list of wacky pet names it comes across. The top 10 wacky dog names, in order, are Almost-A-Dog, Franco Furter, Stinkie Mcstinkerson, Sir Seamus McPoop, Audrey Shepburn, Dewey Decimell, Knuckles Capone, Beagle Lugosi, Shooter Mclovin and Uzi Duzi-Du.

Other names in the Top 50 include Sirnicholaschewbacca and Dexteronimous Prime.
