Wednesday's Quick Hits: New Treasurer, Public Art

Here are some things to look forward to today in Redondo Beach.

Good morning, Redondo Beach! Here are five things residents should know today: 

  1. Election season is finally over, and former Councilman Steve Diels is the new treasurer for the city of Redondo Beach.

  2. The Redondo Beach Public Art Commission will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. The meeting will be at the council chambers at Redondo Beach City Hall at 415 Diamond St. in South Redondo Beach. The agenda is available online; items for discussion include an update on a request for proposals on the Greenstreet Redondo project and a potential public art opportunity.
  3. Our new Patch platform was upgraded several times over the past several weeks. Check out what's new and what's back by popular demand.
