Why go: The popular annual exhibition features diminutive two- and three-dimensional works by artists affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center.

Why go: Have a picnic at the beautiful South Coast Botanic Gardens. The upper and lower meadows will be open.

Why go: It will be a night of music, comedy and prizes at Saint Rocke for this benefit supporting Nathan Goecke, who was left paralyzed after a Hermosa Beach surfing accident. 21 and up.
