Wet Weather Ahead, Forecasters Say

There's a 30 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The remnants of tropical depression Fabio will threaten Redondo Beach and the rest of the Southland with showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service set the chance of showers and thunderstorms in the greater Los Angeles area at 20 percent during daylight hours and 30 percent Wednesday evening.

The forecast high for Redondo Beach is 70 degrees.

According to NWS forecasters, there could be showers and precipitation in parts of the Southland through Tuesday; however, no further precipitation is forecast for the Beach Cities.
