World Peace Visits Sea Hawk Pavilion

Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace—formerly known as Ron Artest—joined Olympian Sean Rosenthal and school officials Tuesday afternoon for the grand reopening of the Sea Hawk Pavilion at .

"This gym is for our kids, for your kids, and for the community," said Superintendent Dr. Steven Keller in a speech. "We plan on taking care of this gym for decades to come."

Using funds from Measure C, the gym was completely revamped with a new scoreboard, flooring and paint job, among other improvements.
