Two Pop-up Voting Spots Placed In Rural San Mateo County
The county Registrar's Office added two more Peninsula sites to vote in Pescadero and La Honda to handle a predicted large turnout.

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Rural voters won't have to drive so far come Election Day. Prospective voters in the far reaches of San Mateo County will be accommodated by the Registrar's Office with two "pop-up" sites in Pescadero and La Honda.
The former located off Pescadero Creek Road at the La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District Office on 360 Butano Cutoff will be set up from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The latter situated at the La Honda Fire Brigade Station near Highway 84 at 8945 La Honda Road will take voters casting their ballots from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Two eSlate voting machines that are accessible to all voters will be available at each site. English, Spanish and those who speak Cantonese or Mandarin can select their preferred language ballot and vote in privacy just like the other locations.
