The American Legion Post 105 Charitable Foundation Makes Donation to The American Legion Auxiliary District 26

William Jackson Jr. of The American Legion Post 105 Charitable Foundation presented a check to Peggy Toye, American Legion Auxiliary, District 26 President. The donation is for assisting a three-year plan to restart twice-yearly barbecues at VA-Menlo Park Bldg. 331.
The VA barbecues came to a halt at the onset of the COVID pandemic in 2020. It was not until fall 2023 that Bldg. 331’s recreational staff invited the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) to restart visits and activities. Since then, ALA members delivered holiday gifts to patients & participated in ‘Toys for Vets’ in December, had volunteers participate at the VA-MP’s Super Bowl celebration, collected voter registration signature cards, and participated in a weekend Bingo game. ALA District 26 welcomes the entire Legion Family to join us for all activities at VA Menlo Park. See a pictorial compilation of past D26's activities.
