Felon With Loaded Gun Arrested In Redwood City: Police
The man was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on Wednesday and was being held without bail.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City man was arrested Wednesday after deputies investigated reports of a suspicious vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators arrived on the 600 block of Warrington Avenue at 2 p.m. and made contact with a man officials identified Thursday as Jose Guadalupe Gaytan, 32, of Redwood City.
The sheriff's office said the conversation revealed a restraining order was active against Gaytan for a nearby address and deputies learned he was under state supervision as part of his parole. During a search, investigators said they found a loaded firearm.

Gaytan was arrested on suspicion of several crimes, including being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition, carrying a firearm with prior felonies, violation of a court order and violation of parole. Officials said he was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on the new charges and was being held with no bail.
