Man Arrested Who Harassed Woman, Assaulted Good Samaritan At SMC Caltrain Station: Police
A good samaritan received significant facial injuries after trying to stop a man harassing a woman at a Caltrain station, police said.
SAN CARLOS, CA — Police arrested a 33-year-old man Thursday who brutally attacked a good samaritan who tried to stop the suspect from harassing a woman at a San Carlos Caltrain station in December.
On Dec. 23, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a Caltrain station in San Carlos after receiving a report of a battery.
Police said the victim was attacked after witnessing the suspect harassing a woman at the Caltrain station. Deputies said the suspect inflicted significant facial injuries on the victim, who was transported to a local hospital.

Police said they identified the suspect Brian Weisl, 33, of South San Francisco. Officers said they located Weisl and arrested him Thursday in South San Francisco.
He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for felony battery with serious bodily injury and assault, police said.
