SMC Begins Listening Sessions, Launches Online Community Survey
Peninsula residents will have several chances to share their thoughts this month at in-person sessions and by filling out an online survey.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — San Mateo County will kick off a series of listening sessions Wednesday to hear the needs and concerns of residents across the Peninsula. Supervisors are hoping to hear from constituents on how to prioritize Mesure K funds, and particularly on ways to improve conditions for children and families, housing and homelessness, emergency preparedness, and mental health services.
The first session is scheduled for Wednesday at Supervisor Ray Mueller's office in El Granada, with six others scheduled throughout the month in Pescadero, East Palo Alto, San Mateo, North Fair Oaks, South San Francisco and Daly City. Interpretation and group discussions will be available in several languages including English, Spanish and Cantonese.
All residents are also encouraged to fill out an online survey that will help inform the county's process.
