USPS Hiring Peninsula Workers During Weekly Job Fairs
The Postal Service is looking to fill hundreds of career roles across the Bay Area, including many on the Peninsula. Here's how to apply.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The U.S. Postal Service will host weekly job fairs at four Peninsula post offices through the end of next month, looking to fill some of the 1,000 openings for new hires across the Bay Area.
The list of immediate needs is a smorgasbord, including clerks and mail handlers, rural and city mail carriers, and tractor-trailer drivers, along with mechanics, custodians and mechanics. The Thursday fairs will give job seekers a chance to get on-site assistance, chat with employees and submit their applications in real time.
"By joining the Postal Service, you will reap the benefits that a career with the Postal Service has to offer, including health and retirement benefits, good pay, stable employment, training, and the ability for career advancement throughout the organization," USPS officials wrote Tuesday. "Plus, working for the Postal Service also gives you something that organizations can't: The chance to deliver essential goods in your community and make a real-time impact to all you serve."
