2 Displaced When Shed Catches Fire In Santa Rosa
Two people living in the shed escaped the blaze, a fire official said.

SANTA ROSA, CA β A fire displaced two people Saturday morning after it burned a shed in Santa Rosa where they were living, fire officials said. Firefighters responded at 11:45 a.m. to unit C of 688 Aston Ave. in South Park where they found a shed engulfed in flames. Fire officials said some fencing in the area was also on fire and a home within eight feet of the shed was starting to burn.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and prevented it from extending to the house.
The fire destroyed the shed, all its contents as well as 20 feet of fence and two windows in the house.

According to fire officials, the two people living in the shed were in the house when the fire was discovered and they escaped injury.
A disabled person in the house was evacuated before firefighters arrived.

Fire officials said the cause appears to be due to an electrical issue and accidental.
The fire caused about $5,000 in damage. The two people who were displaced are getting help from the American Red Cross.
