Boy, 17, Shot In Santa Rosa: Police
The victim drove himself to a hospital, police say about the shooting in southwest Santa Rosa.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β A 17-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Monday evening in southwest Santa Rosa, according to police. At 7:26 p.m., officers responded to an urgent care facility in the 900 block of Corporate Center Parkway on a report of a gunshot victim. The victim drove to the facility to seek medical aid after he was shot in the 2500 block of Gardner Avenue, police said.
Officers contacted the victim at the facility. He suffered a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital where he received treatment, police said.
Police said the victim's identity is not being released at this time. They did not provide any information about possible suspects.

The case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 707-543-3590. Callers can remain anonymous, police said.
The Sonoma County Alliance is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects involved in this crime.
