Man Facing Multiple Meth-Related Charges: Rohnert Park PD

Agustin Mayo has been booked into the Sonoma County jail, Rohnert Park police said. He was arrested following a traffic stop.

ROHNERT PARK, CA β€” One person is in jail after a Rohnert Park police officer discovered drugs inside his vehicle during a traffic stop, the Rohnert Park Police Department said.

On Sunday, around 10:30 p.m., a police officers stopped a vehicle for a code violation, according to the department. The driver was not the registered owner of the vehicle and was unable to correctly name the registered owner.

Following an investigation, the department said the officer found scales, a large amount of methamphetamine (82 grams), a replica handgun and $1,176 in cash.

Police said Agustin Mayo was charged with possession of illegal drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine for sale and the transportation or selling of methamphetamine.

He was booked at the Sonoma County jail.
